A year with farmers: celebrating the value of farming and landscape in Cumbria

We're hatching an exciting plan to work alongside a handful of farmers, and talk to many others, as well as meet organisations and individuals involved in the sector, from vets and retailers to land owners, gathering stories and photographs as we go.

At the moment, we're making our applications for funding. It's looking exciting - so watch this space.

We'll be launching a website for public reference, with a resource for farmers and farming organisations to use as they wish; exhibiting the images and stories across Cumbria, with special viewings on farms for farmers; developing an eduational programme for primary schools; and we are certain that a book that will emerge from the work.
